HIGH VOLUME CATARACT SURGEON JOB in Central Illinois - Great Partnership Opportunity with Premier Ophthalmology Practice - Comprehensive Ophthalmologist.
A VERY BUSY Established Ophthalmology Group in Central Illinois is recruiting for a hard-working, high volume ophthalmologist for a new partnership opportunity.
We will consider new grads and fellowship trained doctor with cataract surgery skills, glaucoma training or an anterior segment background.
This practice is experiencing phenomenal growth and has an exceptional team of doctor and staff. The position is available due to the future retirement of one physician, the acquisition of new offices over the years, and the ever aging regional population. The incoming ophthalmologist will be based at the main campus in Bloomington, IL, with some travel to satellite offices.
Bloomington/Normal is the ultimate white collar, stable economy community with easy access to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis but without the traffic of large cities. The area is home to fantastic public and private schools. This area affords a wonderful, stable, and lucrative career in Ophthalmology.
The practice offers a partnership track, excellent benefit package (BCBS health, dental, life, disability, 401k profit sharing), and a very aggressive salary and bonus structure for HIGH earning potential.
The incoming Surgeon can expect to see 30-50 patients per day, depending on skills, experience and work pace, in clinic with the full support of certified technicians and scribes. Each of the practice’s offices are well equipped and stat-of-the-art. For young ophthalmologists just out of training we anticipate 200-300 cataracts in the first year with a steady increase as a result of the instant patient base, 10 internal optometrists, and a wide network of external referring doctors. Our two, physician-owned ASC’s did more than 4000 surgical cases last year, and another 2000 at outside facilities. Our physicians can also participate in the clinical trials we are a part of through our Certified Clinical Research Coordinator.
