Job Description

East Texas Oculoplastics Surgeon Job Opportunity with Busy, Mid-Sized MD/OD Group! Partnership Potential!

We are a collegial, collaborative team looking for an ASOPRS or 1 Year Fellowship-trained Oculoplastics Surgeon to join our mid-sized Ophthalmology/Optometry group. The incoming plastics doctor will join the largest independent, multi-specialty group in East Texas!

There is a tremendous need for your skills here and you'll be busy, very busy. Our collegial practice is experiencing tremendous growth due to the thriving East Texas economy and patients seeking oculoplastics eye care are terribly underserved. You will be able to walk into a busy oculoplastics practice with technician and scribe support and enjoy a steady stream of internal and external referrals.

We are open to new doctors and to experienced surgeons. Young plastics doctors in training will love it here. Our Oculoplastics specialist is well experienced and will be a fantastic MENTOR.

Starting out, this will be a full-time, employed position but our goal is to find a like-minded doctor who is looking for a long-term PARTNERSHIP fit. We want to find a doctor who recognizes the value of our most important resource, our people, and is willing to engage with and serve the East Texas community. We are looking for a good collegial teammate who has the patient’s best interest in mind and is highly ethical, has good hands and wonderful chairside manners.

If you would like to teach, there are opportunities to do so within the local hospital community and the new University.

Most surgeries are performed at one of our two, physician-owned, state-of-the-art AAAHC Certified ASCs, and at 2 or 3 local hospitals. We also do a sizable amount of procedures in the office.

For our main location, we are moving to a new 80K sq ft main facility with a 4-OR ASC!
