Our practice is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cataract Surgeon to join our esteemed practice in Palm Harbor, FL (Central, Gulf Coast). The ideal candidate will have comprehensive expertise in diagnosing and treating cataracts, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.  This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment alongside a team of renowned ophthalmologists and support staff.

1. Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose cataracts and assess overall eye health.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with cataracts, considering factors such as age, health status, and lifestyle.
3. Perform cataract surgeries using advanced techniques and state-of-the-art equipment, including phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation.
4. Educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care requirements.
5. Collaborate with other ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive eye care for patients with complex conditions or coexisting eye disorders.
6. Stay updated on the latest advancements in cataract diagnosis, treatment, and surgical techniques through continuous learning and professional development activities.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
8. Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.

Qualifications:
1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
3. Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida or eligibility to apply for one.
4. Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic acumen.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a compassionate bedside manner.
