Truly incredible opportunity to join a busy established ophthalmology practice with a passion for quality patient care. We have one full time comprehensive Ophthalmologist, a vitreoretinal surgical associate, and two cataract surgical associates. In this position the incoming ophthalmologist will be replacing a retiring doctor. This ophthalmologist is a very productive, very hardworking doctor with an impeccable reputation. We want to make sure we find a great doctor who will provide exceptional care to our patients. You will inherit his patients!
We are looking for an Ophthalmologist who is comfortable seeing a lot of patients (40-60+), wants to incorporate intravitreal injections into their practice, do premium IOLs, seeks the opportunity to develop a LASIK practice, and desires a loyal community patient base. We are negotiable about the exact skillset and will consider Glaucoma and Cornea candidates too. If you prefer to spend more time in clinic instead of the OR, that can be arranged. Our team consists of dedicated employees, including six ophthalmic technicians, an experienced and cutting-edge management team, and an in-house billing department. and an EMR system is in place. We are located in Staten Island, 1-hour commute from Manhattan and 1 hour to the Jersey Shore.
