NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS - Comprehensive Ophthalmology Partnership in NC!

General / Comprehensive Ophthalmologist - Any sub-specialty a plus.

A private, well-established rural ophthalmology practice in the Western North Carolina mountains is looking for a talented, personable Comprehensive Ophthalmologist for a partnership position. Subspecialty training is a plus but not required.

The incoming doctor will have the opportunity to practice true comprehensive ophthalmology care. The owning doctor is a down to earth, Bascom Palmer trained ophthalmologist. He is the only eye doctor in 7 counties and routinely performs surgery on every part of the eye; Cataracts, YAG’s, Retina / Vitreous, Corneal Transplants, IV injections, Glaucoma surgeries and more. The practice has 1 primary office and 2 satellites. The office has a solid patient backlog but makes time for walk-ins. Excellence in care and a great work ethic are required. You will work with loyal, well-trained staff and see incredible patients who respect your work and are deeply appreciative of the expert eye care they receive.

Living in the midst of North Carolina’s beautiful mountains is an everyday treat that never gets old. Lush forests, exceptional hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing and more are all part of the great lifestyle that this opportunity affords. There are no city crowds or traffic jams. The community is small and life is tranquil and simple.
The incoming doctor can expect competitive salary, productivity bonuses and benefits.

The motto of this practice is “Quality, Compassionate Eye Care Regardless of Ability to Pay.”
