Kansas City Ophthalmology Partnership Ophthalmology jobs Online

Oculoplastics Position

Midwestern Metropolitan City - Wonderful Place to Live and Work!

Practice in an upscale area in one of the Midwest's most loved large cities. This is a fun, growing city with an area population of 2+ million. The city is home to wonderful universities, small colleges, great primary and secondary schools, professional sports teams (NFL, MLB, MLS) fantastic concerts, great festivals and lots of green spaces!

You'll join 4 other M.D.'s, 2 O.D.’s and an exceptional team of administrative and support staff in an esteemed, progressive multi-specialty group practice. Each of the group’s ophthalmologists are fellowship trained; Cornea, Refractive, Glaucoma and Plastics. The organization has a phenomenal OD referrals network of over 100 and the practice continues to expand. They are now searching for a talented OCULOPLASTICS (ASOPRS or Non-ASOPRS) ophthalmologist for existing needs and future patient growth.

The practice has a new 26,000 square feet building. It is an architectural work of art. It is a stunning modern medical office environment with 12 exam lanes, 10 workup lanes, a research center and a LASIK suite showcasing the new Wavelight Refractive Suite. A spacious 6,000 square feet, 2 room ASC is located inside and features a LenSx Femtosecond Laser.

This opportunity is for an Oculoplastics surgeon (ASOPRS or Non-ASOPRS) with a cooperative, congenial spirit and a service mentality. A desire for excellence in clinical and surgical outcomes is essential. The right fit will necessitate a mix of Oculoplastics (cosmetic and surgical) and General Ophthalmology work including cataract surgeries. This latter work will diminish, in time, as the new doctor grows his or her side of the plastics practice. It is likely that the new doctor will start out with a mix of approximately 50% Oculoplastics and 50% Cataracts / General Ophthalmology.

This is a wonderful opportunity with a progressive group of MD’s. Ophthalmology candidates who have a heart for mission’s involvement will appreciate the group’s hands on approach to eye care relief efforts at home and abroad. Several physicians in this group share their talents, time and skills with others who need help locally and internationally.

The compensation package includes an attractive guaranteed base salary, great benefits, a wonderful incentives structure and the opportunity for possible partnership opportunities in the practice, real estate and surgery center.

The location is in an upscale district in a highly desirable city. The group is quickly growing and the new building and stunning ASC are waiting for your skills, talents and experience.
